Privacy policy

In short: We count visits to our websites, not people, and we never sell your information. Our apps and products don’t track you at all: no analytics, no ads. If your business is a client, we keep only what we need to serve it, and Stripe handles payments.

Who we are

D4U Software and Cloud Services LLC (“D4U”) operates d4u.work, d4u.store, d4u.dev and its product domains. D4U is responsible for the information described in this policy.

What this policy covers

This policy covers all of D4U’s domains:

• d4u.work and d4u.store.
• d4u.dev, where D4U hosts its apps.
• The domains and websites of D4U’s products, including their temporary “coming soon” pages.
• The D4U client portal, where businesses create an account, choose a product and a service level, and pay for their subscription.

An app or product may also have its own privacy policy on its website, with more detail on how it handles information. That policy never contradicts this one.

The apps and products we develop

The apps and products D4U develops, whether for the public or for our clients, have no tracking of any kind: no analytics, no advertising, no profiles. We do not sell their information or share it with anyone.

Visiting our websites

Cloudflare hosts our websites. Like any web server, it processes technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the pages.

On d4u.work, d4u.store and our product websites, we measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It shows us totals: number of visits, pages viewed, country, referring site and device type. It does not tell us who you are and does not use advertising cookies. We do not measure visits on d4u.dev.

Each site stores your language and your light or dark theme choice in your own browser. That information is never sent to us.

The contact form

When you write to us through our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message by email so we can reply. We do not add you to any mailing list.

To block automated spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots.

Your client account

When your business registers in the client portal, we collect:

• The name and email of the person who registers, and of the users your business adds to the portal.
• Your business details: legal name, country, tax ID and billing email.
• The product, service level and subscription you choose, and their history.
• Records of portal access and activity, kept for security and support.

We use this information to manage your account, activate the product you subscribe to, bill your subscription, provide support and send you service messages. We do not use it for advertising.

The portal uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect your account.

Payments

Stripe processes all payments. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; D4U does not see or store them. Stripe sends us what we need to manage your subscription: the status of each payment, invoices, and the card type and last digits. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Who else handles information

We share information only with the providers we need to run D4U, and only for that purpose:

• Cloudflare: hosting, security, the portal and email delivery.
• Stripe: payments and invoices.

We may also disclose information when required by law. These providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your business is a client and for as long as needed to close the account. We keep billing records for as long as tax and accounting laws require.

Security

We protect information with encrypted connections and by limiting access to the people at D4U who need it to serve you.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent information.
• We do not show ads or use advertising cookies.
• We do not create profiles of visitors.

Your choices

To ask what information we have about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to hola@d4u.work. We may need to keep some information while a subscription is active or when the law requires it.

Children

d4u.work, d4u.store and the client portal are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s information; if we learn we have received it, we delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new date. If a change is significant for clients, we will also notify them by email.
